We have great clubs in our district. We have energetic and enthusiastic region, zone, and committee chairs who are working hard to serve you and your club. Please feel free to contact the district folks if you have any question, concerns, or want help with any of your projects or club operations.
The district slogan for this year is "Growing Lionism." Growing Lionism can be done in many ways. First we must remember the Lions slogan, We Serve, by doing more service in our communities we are following and committing to our pledge in being Lions.
Second, and going hand-in-hand with service, is growing membership. More members means more service, more service means more members, it's a chicken and egg thing. For every new member in our clubs we are not only helping members in our local communities, but we're also helping people around the world.
I'm looking forward to helping develop and strengthening Lions around the district. It is truly my pleasure to serve you as District Governor this year.
